The Vuarnet company was founded in France in 1960. The optician Roger Pouilloux, inspired by his love for skiing, presented a pair of sunglasses as a gift to the French ski champion, Jean Vuarnet. These glasses, enhanced vision with the famous Skilynx lens and allowed him to successfully overcome the obstacles of the track. He managed to win gold at the Olympics. Since then, there has been an upward trend, but always based on quality and not mass. The main ambassador of the company is Vincent Cassel.
